At Shop Baby Boutiques, we want you to find the perfect fit for your little one. That’s why we provide detailed sizing information for each product on our website. However, we understand that sometimes it can be tricky to choose the right size online. To help you out, we have created this sizing guide with some tips and tricks on how to measure your baby and how to use our size chart.
How to Measure Your Baby
Before you start shopping, it’s a good idea to measure your baby and compare their measurements with our size chart. This will help you avoid ordering the wrong size and having to return or exchange your items.
To measure your baby, you will need a soft measuring tape and a flat surface. You can also use a piece of string and a ruler if you don’t have a measuring tape. Here are the steps to follow:
- Lay your baby down on a flat surface and make sure they are relaxed and comfortable.
- Measure their length from the top of their head to the bottom of their feet. You can use a book or a wall to mark where their head and feet are.
- Measure their chest by wrapping the measuring tape around the widest part of their chest, under their arms.
-
- Measure their waist by wrapping the measuring tape around the narrowest part of their waist, above their belly button.
- Measure their hips by wrapping the measuring tape around the fullest part of their hips, around their diaper.
- Write down the measurements and compare them with our size chart.
How to Use Our Size Chart
We have different size charts for different product categories, such as rompers, clothing sets, dresses. You can find the size chart for each product on its product page, under the description section.
To use our size chart, follow these steps:
- Find the product category that you are interested in and click on it.
- Look at the size chart and find the column that matches your baby’s measurements. For example, if your baby’s length is 60 cm, look for the column that says 60 cm.
- Look at the row that corresponds to the product size that you want to order. For example, if you want to order a romper in size 3M, look for the row that says 3M.
- Check if your baby’s measurements fall within the range of values for that size. For example, if your baby’s chest is 42 cm, check if 42 cm is within the range of values for chest in size 3M.
- If your baby’s measurements fall within the range of values for that size, then you can order that size. If your baby’s measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend ordering the larger size for a more comfortable fit. If your baby’s measurements fall outside the range of values for any size, please contact us at support@shopbabyboutiques.com and we will help you find the best fit.
